A Billboard divulgou nesta terça (22) os indicados para os prêmios Billboard Music Awards 2020, premiação que acontece no próximo dia 14. Entre os nomeados, se destacam nomes como Billie Elish, Lizzo, Lil Nas X, Taylor Swift e Jonas Brothers. Já adiada uma vez por causa da pandemia, a cerimônia será comandada por Kelly Clarkson, pela terceira vez consecutiva.

Embora já tenha os indicados e o apresentador, os detalhes sobre como acontecerá o evento ainda não foram revelados. Mas aposta-se que a cerimônia será realizada de forma virtual, seguindo o exemplo do Emmy e o VMA. .

Post Malone se destaca na lista dos indicados com 16 indicações, seguido de Lil Nas X com 15 e Billie Eilish e Khalid com 12 indicações cada. No ano passado, Cardi B liderou o número de indicações com 21 nomeações em 18 categorias, mas em 2020 foi indicada em somente 1 categoria. Drake foi o maior vencedor da noite em 2019, levando 12 prêmios de 17 indicações. Em 2020, ele acumula cinco indicações.
