No último domingo (26) aconteceu a 62ª edição do Grammys. A premiação contou com os grandes astros da música mas também com as revelações do último ano como Lizzo, Lil Nas X e Billie Eilish, que inclusive foram os destaques deste ano.

Billie levou os 4 prêmios principais da noite: “Artista Revelação”, “Melhor Álbum do Ano”, “Melhor Gravação do Ano” e “Melhor Música do Ano”. Aos 18 anos, ela se tornou segunda artista na história a levar os principais prêmios da cerimônia. O álbum “When We all Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go” surpreendeu o mundo e se tornou o álbum feminino com mais streamings da história.
Lizzo, a recordista da noite em indicações, levou três prêmios das oito categorias nomeadas, entre eles “Melhor Performance Pop Solo”, em que fez um discurso emocionante. A cantora que abriu a premiação com uma performance do single ‘Cuz I Love You’ e o smash hit ‘Truth Hurts’ fez uma homenagem ao Kobe Bryant, ídolo do basquete norte-americano, que faleceu no último domingo em um acidente de helicóptero.
Alicia Keys, a apresentadora da noite, também fez sua homenagem ao cantor com ‘It’s So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday’, apresentada ao lado de Boyz II Men, os intérpretes da faixa.
Outro momento emocionante da premiação foi a grande volta de Demi Lovato. A cantora que quase morreu com uma overdose apresentou uma faixa escrita 4 dias antes da tragédia. ‘Anyone’, seu novo single, é uma faixa emocionante que fala sobre estar passando por um momento difícil que ninguém te escuta. Quem também se emocionou foi Alejandro, pai de Camila Cabello, que ganhou uma homenagem de sua filha ao cantar ‘First Man’ para ele na plateia. O pai não se conteve em lágrimas.
Mas a noite não foi só tristeza, Lil Nas X agitou a noite com o hit ‘Old Town Road’ ao lado de Diplo, BTS, Billy Ray Cyrus e Mason Ramsey.

Ariana Grande se apresentou no palco com ‘Imagine’, ‘7 Rings’ e ‘thank u, next’, mas não levou nenhum prêmio.
